This is the official organ of our association, which is published quarterly and sent in paper version to all Italian members and in digital version to foreign members. Although the wording “News of Italian Aerophilately Association” is still reported on the cover, AIDAFlash has lost its original function over time, even more so with the presence of the website, becoming now a real magazine, where all members they can present their studies and their research, in compliance with the editorial line that the association has set itself, while still being free of the points of view expressed, for which each author remains responsible.
Occasionally, articles by non-members are also published, considered of particular interest in the aerofilatelic field.
A few about the AIDAFlash Magazine
The origins
As recalled by Giorgio Barberis, in the number 150, AIDAFlash idea came from that inveterate journalist who was his father, Nino Barberis, and the name of the magazine also came from him, which was to give the idea of transmitting short news to the Members of the time (there were between 150 and 180) with whom, since there was still no Internet, there was no other way to communicate than by post.
