The “XX Colloquium of postal history” in Prato

Like every year, especially now that we are beginning to see an attenuation of the pandemic situation, the conduct in presence of the “XX Colloquium of postal history” was confirmed, and it was held in Prato, on 12 February last, at the ‘State Archives, in via Ser Lapo Mazzei 41. Eleven speakers present, who addressed a very specific and original theme:

Mail and water. Routes of sea, river, lake and… floods.

The Colloquium was organized, as always, by the Institute of Historical Postal Studies “Aldo Cecchi” onlus (ISSP) of Prato, in collaboration, on this occasion, with the Association for the study of Tuscan postal history (ASPOT) of Livorno . The complete program is attached here and, as you can see, it was divided into two sessions, chaired by Bruno Crevato-Selvaggi, President of the ISSP and Alberto Caroli, President of ASPOT.
