From the Federation, with Information Letter n. 4 on February 27, 2021, the news reaches us that the first national exhibition will be PHIL-Italia 4.0, as a virtual exhibition.
This is a competitive virtual philatelic event sponsored by the Federation of Italian Philatelic Societies (FSFI), which will take place in the period April-June 2021.
The event is jointly organized by the CIFO (Italian Collectors of Ordinary Stamps) and by the CIFT (Italian Center for Thematic Philately). It is divided into two related exhibitions:
- Qualification Show (EQ) comprising the classes of:
- Thematic philately
- Modern Traditional Philately (1900-1945)
- Contemporary Traditional Philately (> 1945)
- Traditional diachronic philately
- Modern postal history (1900-1945)
- Contemporary Postal History (> 1945)
- Diachronic postal history
- Open Philately
- National Show (EN)comprising the classes of:
- Thematic Philately
- Open Philately
Participation in PHIL-Italia 4.0 is reserved for members of companies registered in the Federation of Italian Philatelic Societies
The entries will be displayed on the entries and results page available to the Jury and the public.
Each participation will be awarded a virtual medal diploma, with the medal level corresponding to the score obtained. The best participation ever in the national exhibition will receive the Grand Prix of the Exhibition offered by the CIFT.
The results of the exhibition will be announced on 12 June during a ceremony in which the president of the Jury or his delegate will make a presentation with general indications and suggestions valid for all exhibitors. The best participations of each class will be illustrated by the exhibitor and a juror. The ceremony will be broadcast online in a manner that will be subsequently communicated.
If the conditions of the pandemic allow it, the ceremony, with the delivery of diplomas and prizes, will take place at the Hotel Enterprise (Corso Sempione 91, Milan). A convivial meeting will follow according to modalities that will be announced later.
